A few simple rules that keep RockWatch useful for everyone on the Rock.
What RockWatch is for
RockWatch is for non-emergency civic issues in Gibraltar. If life or property is at immediate risk, always call 999 or 112 — never wait for a report.
Your reports
Report honestly and only what you've actually seen. Photos should show the issue, not people — avoid capturing faces, number plates or private property interiors.
You keep ownership of your photos, and you give RockWatch and the responding department permission to use them to resolve the issue.
Community actions
Agrees, disagrees and “suggest resolved” are community signals. A report is marked resolved when enough neighbours confirm it — and they help officials see what matters most.
Fair use
Don't misuse RockWatch: no false reports, no harassment, no spam, and no using the platform for commercial promotion. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Liability
RockWatch is a community platform and is not yet affiliated with the Government of Gibraltar. We make issues visible but cannot guarantee when or whether they are fixed — that sits with the authorities responsible.
Work for a department and want to change that? Reach out through our contact form (topic "For officials") — we'd love to develop RockWatch further, together.
